UST welcomes prospective students, families to campus this week

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will welcome hundreds of prospective students and their families to campus this week, June 21-25, as part of Minnesota Private College Week.

The event, coordinated by the Minnesota Private College Council, is structured to encourage students to visit up to two campuses a day, each day of the week. It is specifically designed to increase visibility for Minnesota’s private colleges.

At St. Thomas, guests will have a chance to hear from faculty, staff and student speakers and participate in a tour of the campus. Event headquarters will be located in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center; families will park in the Anderson Parking Facility on the south campus.

"Please join the admissions staff in welcoming our guests to St. Thomas!” remarked Angie Hertel, assistant director of admissions. "We want to show off our welcoming community as well as our campus this week. When you see us out giving campus tours, feel free to give us a big wave or say hello to our tour groups."
