Welcome to St. Thomas!
Please welcome the external organizations holding their summer camps and conferences on the St. Paul campus this week. They include Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning:
- The POGIL BioChem meeting will be held July 7-11 in Room 100, McNeely Hall. Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) is a research-based learning environment in which students are actively engaged in mastering course content and in developing essential skills by working in self-managed teams on guided inquiry activities. Biochemists from diverse locations around the country have been independently developing POGIL activities for biochemistry for the past decade; however, Vicky Minderhout and Jenny Loertscher at Seattle University have developed a comprehensive set of activities, which they will present at this conference.
