Widmer’s accepts Tommie eXpress card
From Auxiliary Services

Widmer’s Super Market, a full-service, family-owned grocer, now accepts the Tommie eXpress Card.

The market, 1936 St. Clair Ave., and just a short walk from the university's St. Paul campus, has served the Macalester-Groveland neighborhood for more than 50 years.

"We are particularly excited about the addition of this new off-campus merchant, because the addition of several on-campus apartment facilities in the past few years has created a need for just this type of service provider," said Bruce Van Den Berghe, associate vice president of Auxiliary Services. "Manager Scottie McAdam and his staff are ready and anxious to meet the needs of the students, faculty and staff of the university."

In a related development, the owners of the Sinclair station at 1345 Grand Ave. have decided to accept the eXpress card at their other Sinclair service station, located at 1745 Grand Ave. Randy Williams, who formerly owned the Phillips 66 station at Cleveland and Grand avenues, is looking forward to continuing his relationship with eXpress card users at this new location.
