Dr. Steven Berry, a bioinorganic chemist on the faculty at the University of Minnesota - Duluth, will present this week's Chemistry Seminar.
His presentation, “Study of Copper Oxidoreductases Through Metalloprotein Engineering,” will include discussion of modeling studies performed using noncoupled copper centers, found in the copper oxidoreductase enzymes, which were designed into the small soluble protein azurin.
Chemistry Seminars are held at 3 p.m. each Friday in Room 251, Owens Science Hall. The UST Department of Chemistry welcomes and encourages all to attend.
