CILCE Hosts two Midsemester Reflections; all Students Invited to Attend

The Center for Intercultural Learning and Community Engagement will host two Midsemester Reflections this week. The Midsemester Reflections are open to all students, but tutor-mentors must attend at least one or the two events listed below:

Wednesday, April 4
Room 100, McNeely Hall – 6-7:30 p.m.

Back by popular demand, Dr. Barbara Gorski, program director of Business 200, will speak on ways to make the most of service work through résumés, interviews and future employment. Learn how volunteering for others also can help the volunteer now and in the future.

Thursday, April 12
Hearth Room (340), Anderson Student Center – 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.

Judy Long, education program director at Fred Wells and Tutor-Mentor Community Partner, will share her experiences in working with diverse populations and the importance of the volunteer’s role in helping students reach their full potential.
