Application packets are available in three locations for students to nominate a faculty member for the Distinguished Educator Award, and an administrator or staff member for the William B. Malevich Award. Both awards are sponsored by Undergraduate Student Government.
The Distinguished Educator Award is presented each year by USG to an outstanding faculty member who makes a difference on campus and in the lives of students.
The William B. Malevich Award, initiated in 1989, recognizes an outstanding administrator or staff member who contributes to the St. Thomas campus and community.
"Nominating faculty, administrators and staff is a great way to recognize members of the St. Thomas community who have truly inspired you," commented Jessica Root, USG vice president of academic affairs.
To submit nominations, pick up an application in the USG Office (ASC, Room 314) or Campus Life (ASC, Room 325), or go to the USG website.
Nominations must be returned by 4 p.m. Friday, March 30, to either office or emailed to Root.
