Exempt Staff Council to Host Spring Forum April 11

The Exempt Staff Council will hold its spring forum from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Monday, April 11. All exempt staff members are invited to attend.

The meeting will be live in Room 201, Opus Hall, on the Minneapolis campus, with a video-conference feed to Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, on the St. Paul campus. Council members will be available on both campuses.

Forum agenda:

  • Appreciation will be expressed to the council and farewell will be given to five individuals whose terms have expired.
  • Five new members will be welcomed.
  • Mark Vangsgard, vice president for business affairs and chief financial officer, will give a budget presentation, discuss enrollment numbers, and share university cost savings from recent university initiatives, including centralized travel, early retirement and more.
  • Dr. Mark Dienhart, executive vice president and chief operating officer, will give an update on the state of the university, including the capital campaign, building projects and several other items important to the campus community.

The Exempt Staff Council spring forum provides an opportunity to ask questions on these topics. If you cannot attend the meeting and wish to submit a question, email it to the council. A member of the council will make sure that the question is discussed.

Cookies and lemonade will be provided at both locations.
