IRT announces upgrade to Request for Services system

UST’s Request for Service (RFS) system will begin the first of a two-part upgrade on Tuesday, July 8.  

Phase one of the upgrade involves the integration of UST’s work-flow system, Web Help Desk, with RFS. (Web Help Desk is the tool that IRT uses for tracking, communicating and managing support requests.) Starting July 8, all requests for IRT services that are submitted online using Request for Service will be routed through Web Help Desk.  

During phase two of the project, RFS tickets submitted to other divisions, such as Auxiliary Services, will be migrated to Web Help Desk; in addition, RFS also will be integrated into UST's latest home page theme, navigation and tool box. (See snapshot below).
