The University of St. Thomas Public Safety Department has posted a bulletin about the first-ever nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System, which will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9.
The test is designed to assess the reliability and effectiveness of the Emergency Alert System as a way to alert the public of national emergencies.
