Online seminar to explain School of Education's new Certificate in E-Learning
The University of St. Thomas School of Education is offering a new Certificate in E-Learning that prepares participants to offer online training. This teaching method is gaining in popularity because of the demand for people with the skills to implement this new technology within business training or a teaching curriculum.
The five-course online program is designed for working professionals with classes on occasional Saturdays. Led by experienced faculty, students will learn instructional strategies for online training as well as how to evaluate and motivate learners. Students also will participate in an internship that allows for real-world experience.
To learn more about the Certificate in E-Learning, sign up to participate in a free online seminar that will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 18. The seminar will explain the benefits of this program and offer some helpful tips and tools for online teaching and training.
To register, visit the School of Education Web page.
