Most of the parking restrictions imposed earlier this month on St. Paul residential streets will end at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 27.
The city banned parking on the even-numbered side of residential streets beginning March 1 because the high volume of snow had narrowed them. Offenders were issued a warning ticket and towed.
Parking now will be allowed on both sides of most streets. Some streets remain too narrow to allow for parking on both sides and will be posted with temporary “no parking” signs.
Motorists need to remember that permit parking zones remain in effect around the St. Thomas campus, and those restrictions will continue to be enforced.
