Please welcome to campus summer camps, conferences, reunion
Six organizations will hold summer camps, conferences and reunions on campus this week. Please welcome:
- Public defenders from across the state will converge on campus June 22-27 when the Minnesota Board of Public Defense hosts its annual Trial School. Workshops and small-group activities will take place in the JRC, AQU and OEC.
- Catholic Outreach, Resources and Evangelization (C.O.R.E.) Ministries will conduct an Evangelization School June 25-29. Taught in four tracks (The Theology of Evangelization, Character and Holiness, Empowerment, and Techniques in Evangelization), the school culminates with an opportunity for field work when the participants are sent out to evangelize on downtown streets. - UST coach John Tschida hosts his annual Softball and Baseball Summer Rookie League, which stresses fun, good attitudes and fundamentals. This instructional league was formed and created by area baseball legend and UST baseball coach Dennis Denning.
- The Frost/McAleer families will call St. Thomas home when they gather for their annual family reunion June 26-29
- Other groups previously mentioned that return this week for additional camps are the Tommie Pride Residential Basketball Camp and the Glen Caruso Football Camp.
