Bruce Benidt, Journalism and Mass Communication Department, is the author of "Reporting With Attitude," an article in the winter/spring issue of Newsworthy: The Magazine of the Minnesota News Council.
Dr. Michael Hennessey, Programs in Engineering and Technology Management, was invited to give a talk to 3M's Technical Forum, Abrasives Chapter, on March 5. The technical work also is described in an article, "Understanding Wear and Lay Patterns Generated by a Rotating Circular Abrasive Disk," published in the January/February 2004 issue of Grinding & Abrasives magazine.
Dr. Mary Rose O'Reilley, English Department, taught a weekend class, "Writing as Contemplative Practice," at Pendle Hill Quaker Center Feb. 13-15 in Philadelphia.
