Kate Boyle, Heide Malat and Jane Rauenhorst, predoctoral interns in Counseling and Career Services, presented posters about their dissertations at annual meeting of the the Minnesota Psychological Association May 6 at Rutger's Lodge in Bay Lake, Minn. Dr. Sarah Armstrong, Personal Counseling, hosted the poster-presentation session, an annual event that includes predoctoral interns in psychology statewide. Boyle's poster was titled "Determining Factors in Becoming an Effective Clinical Supervisor: An Exploratory Study"; Malat's was "Parent Report of Traumatic Impact: The Development of a New Instrument; Rauenhorst's was "Factors Influencing Mother-Infant Attachment During Pregnancy: A Qualitative Investigation."
Seung Ai Yang, School of Divinity, gave a keynote speech, "Biblical Imperatives for the Mission of the Multi-Cultural Society," at the National Federation of Priests Council May 3 in Oakland, Calif.
