John McGivern
John McGivern, 49, died June 29 at a hospice in Scottsdale, Ariz. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 29, in Davenport, Iowa.
John attended St. Thomas for three years, from 1980 to 1983. Two of his brothers are St. Thomas graduates, Tom ’69 and Jay '78.
A U.S. Navy veteran, he is survived by a son and a daughter in Albert Lea, Minn., as well as by two sisters and six brothers.
