The text of the news media release from the Sartell Police Department is as follows:

“Andrea Alejandra Arrigada, age 18, was reported missing by her parents at about 11:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2005. They reported that Andrea had left for St. Cloud State University at 5:45 a.m. on Monday (for an athletic training session), but she never arrived there. Andrea was upset over an argument with her parents that extended through the weekend. Also missing is the family’s green 1999 Toyota Corolla four-door, with Minnesota license plates DSZ-142 and a .22 caliber rifle. It is unknown if she is in the company of anyone else. Anyone having information should contact the Sartell Police Department at (320) 251-8186.”

Note: Andrea is a member of the SCSU Nordic ski team and the .22 rifle is the one she uses for biathlon events.
