The program connects individuals with others who can advise, coach, guide and help understand their work environment.
The application deadline for the 2010-2011 Staff Mentorship Program has been extended to Friday, June 25; in addition, informational sessions will be held:
Minneapolis campus
- 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 16 – Room 301, Terrence Murphy Hall
St. Paul campus
- 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 – Room 155, Murray-Herrick Campus Center
The Staff Mentorship Program leadership team will be available to answer questions, and current program participants will be available to share their experiences. Cookies will be provided.
Who can participate?
Any regular full- or part-time staff member who is interested in participating in the program.
What is the time commitment?
There is a one-year commitment beginning Wednesday, Aug. 18. The program includes a short training session for all participants. Within the program, mentoring pairs set their own schedules and participate in formal and informal programming. Large-group luncheons with invited speakers are held quarterly.
How do I participate?
Staff members interested in becoming a mentee must submit a Mentee Application Form to Human Resources.
Staff members interested in becoming a mentor should seek nomination through their Academic and Administrative Leadership Group representative.
