Study abroad: Reps from two schools here tomorrow to talk about international study
Find out about studying for a semester or year in Austria, Great Britain , the Netherlands and Spain. Representatives from both the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Central College will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 20, in the lower quad outside Murray-Herrick Campus Center.
Glasgow English Semester application deadline
Make Glasgow your home away from home and let the friendships grow in spring 2007. Take classes that fulfill your English requirements and more. Live in university housing and join the sports center. Hike the highland and islands, or travel to London and the Continent.
You will be integrated fully into the life of the University of Glasgow. Not only will you live in the dorms with students from Scotland and all over the world, but you can participate in the university’s clubs, excursions and other organized activities. Take the plunge!
Here are the eligibility requirements:
- English major or minor
- Completion of two English courses from the 200 level or above. At least one of these courses must be ENGL 211: British Authors I or ENGL 212: British Authors II
- 3.0 GPA
- Junior standing at the time of the program
The Glasgow English Semester final application deadline is Monday, Oct. 2.
