Tommies 4 Tomorrow, a community service organization, will hold information sessions

Tommies 4 Tomorrow informational sessions are today through Thursday

Tommies 4 Tomorrow, a new community service organization on campus, invites undergraduate and graduate students of all majors, alumni, faculty and administrators to information sessions from 12:30 - 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 28, and Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 29 and 30, in Room 315, McNeely Hall.

Tommies 4 Tomorrow is part of the Junior Achievement organization. It will place volunteers in elementary, middle school and high school classrooms to teach organized business and economic lessons from the volunteers' education and life experience.

In conjunction with the Opus College of Business, the Tommies 4 Tomorrow goal is to become Junior Achievement's largest source of volunteers in the Midwest.

Junior Achievement bridges the gap between education and business by illustrating various ways of building self-confidence, developing skills, and finding avenues of success within the social and commercial interactions of the community. Its volunteers exhibit the highest moral standards and professional ethics and provide the community with positive role models for young leaders of tomorrow.
