“Catholic Students Strive to be ‘Strong Men of God,’” The Catholic Spirit, Nov. 10, 2011. “The life of a college student can be a busy one, but for a group of young men at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, making time every Thursday night to gather together and talk about their Catholic faith is a top priority.” Features UST’s Catholic Men’s Leadership Group.

“Buyers are eager, sellers reluctant,” Star Tribune, Nov. 11, 2011. “While Twin Cities-area closed home sales rose 32 percent in October, prices fell 9.4 percent.” Herb Tousley, director, M.S. in Real Estate, is quoted.

“No Facebook November, a St. Thomas student urges,” Star Tribune, Nov. 12, 2011. “For Brandon Miranda, Facebook can be a time waster that leads to ‘sinful’ behavior: bullying, vanity, the glorification of binge drinking. So the University of St. Thomas sophomore started the Facebook page, ‘No Facebook November,’ which urges fans not to use the site this month.” Featuring UST student Brandon Miranda.

“The ethics of the Penn State scandal,” Minnesota Public Radio, Nov. 14, 2011. “Among the many issues raised by the scandal at Penn State, some observers are focused on one: How could so many people be aware of the alleged sexual abuse of a child and not alert the police?” Daryl Koehn, professor of Ethics and Business Law, is quoted.

“Why I'm building an energy-efficient house,” MinnPost, Nov. 15, 2011. “The news broke last week that the world dumped 564 million tons of additional CO2 into the atmosphere in 2010. That is about 6 percent more than we released into the atmosphere in 2009.” John Abraham, associate professor of Engineering, is quoted.
