Worship schedule changes announced for Christmas break and J-Term
Here are the worship schedule changes for Christmas break:
Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas – Sundays
Masses will not be held on Sundays, Dec. 18, 25 and Jan. 1.
Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Florance Chapel – weekdays
Daily Mass will not be held:
- 7 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 24; Thursday-Saturday, Dec. 29, 30 and 31; and Monday, Jan. 2
- 12:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23; Monday, Dec. 26; Friday, Dec. 30; and Monday, Jan. 2
Chapel of St. Thomas More (Minneapolis) – weekdays
Daily Mass will not be held Friday, Dec. 23-Wednesday, Jan. 11.
Sacrament of reconciliation
The sacrament of reconciliation will not be available at St. Thomas from Wednesday, Dec. 21, to Friday, Jan. 27.
Reconciliation will be available at the following local parishes.
Nativity of Our Lord, 1900 Wellesley Ave., St. Paul:
- 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
- 3:30 p.m. Saturday
St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 2001 Dayton Ave., St. Paul:
- 3:30 p.m. Saturday
January Term 2006 Mass schedule
Sundays
- Masses will be held at 6:45 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 8, 15, 22 and 29 in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas.
Weekdays
- Masses will be held at 7 a.m. Monday-Saturday in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas.
Exception: Mass will not be held on Monday and Friday, Jan. 2 and 6, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. - Masses will be held at 12:05 p.m. Monday-Friday in the Florance Chapel
Exception: Mass will not be held on Friday, Jan. 16, in the Florance Chapel. - Masses will resume at noon Thursday, Jan. 12, in the Chapel of St. Thomas More, Minneapolis campus.
Sacrament of reconciliation
The sacrament of reconciliation will not be available at St. Thomas from Monday, Dec. 26, to Tuesday, Jan. 27. Reconciliation will be available at local parishes; see the schedule in the Christmas break information above.
