Planning to take your first chemistry course in fall 2012? In order to help you better understand, prior to registration, whether a given course is appropriate for you, the Chemistry Department has implemented a placement test.
If you’re planning to take CHEM 100, you do not need to take the placement test.
If you’re planning to take CHEM 111 or CHEM 115, you must take the placement test prior to registration for the course. This test is now available on Murphy Online – Student Services – Placement Exam(s). Note that incoming students and Aquinas Scholars Honors Program students have priority for CHEM 115.
