The University of St. Thomas football team’s spring practices will culminate in an intrasquad scrimmage Saturday, May 12. The scrimmage, free and open to the public, will be held at 1 p.m. in O'Shaughnessy Stadium.
The Tommies are the two-time defending champions of the MIAC. They were undefeated in the MIAC each of the past two seasons. They open the 2012 season at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Saturday, Sept. 1. The home opener is Saturday, Sept. 8 against the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
The Tommies open the MIAC season Saturday, Sept. 15, at St. John’s University. The Tommies defeated the Johnnies 63-7 at home in 2011.
