Transforming Uganda: Tommie Alumni Lead Change in Home Country

At first glance, the Tafari interlocking block looks a lot like a giant Lego brick. Inventor Brian Osende '10, '11 MS designed the block to transform how homes are built around the world, but especially in his native Uganda. Osende is just one of dozens of Tommie alums, who are now back home in Uganda, deploying the skills and connections they developed halfway around the world, to serve their home country.

April 4: Embrace Simplicity at Special Lenten Meal

Join the Global Justice Movement, Campus Ministry and the Center for the Common Good for a meaningful Lenten event at T's Dining. The Eat Simply, Give Generously – A CRS Rice Bowl Fundraiser will feature a $5 meal special: lentil curry over basmati rice with raita, chutney, and naan. All donations will support Catholic Relief Services. The evening will encourage attendees to live out the Lenten practices of fasting and almsgiving while coming together in solidarity with those facing hunger.

April 6: Deadline Nears to Nominate An Undergraduate Commencement Speaker
