The University of St. Thomas has announced Bethany Brausen as the next head coach of the Tommie women's hockey program. As interim head coach in 2024-25, Brausen led St. Thomas to its first sweep of a top 5 program this past weekend and has played an integral role in the Tommies' Division I transition.

Dr. John Abraham, mechanical engineering professor at the School of Engineering, spoke with the Minnesota Star Tribune about his latest ocean warming research and how rising temperatures across the globe led to the warmest winter and fall ever recorded in the state.

Mark Osler, professor at the School of Law, spoke with national news outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post, for various stories about the changing world of presidential pardons.

Dr. Manjeet Rege, software engineering and data science professor at the School of Engineering, spoke with WCCO Radio about "The Stargate Project" and other announcements from the Trump administration related to AI.

Virgil Wiebe, professor at the School of Law, joined WCCO Radio to discuss the Trump administration's planned mass deportations and the potential legal hurdles that would need to be overcome to implement such a plan.
