Sister Katarina Schuth receives Medal for Excellence in Ministry
Sister Katarina Schuth has received the Pedro Arrupe Medal for Excellence in Ministry from Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, Mass.
The award, given at commencement exercises on May 20, cites her "legacy of service to the common good and of dedication to the welfare of others." The citation specifically focused on the impact of her scholarship on the assessment of training for Catholic ministry, as well as her work to develop the Common Ground initiatve to foster improved dialogue and understanding among Catholics in the United States.
Sister Katarina previously received four honorary doctorates from other universities. We are very proud to have her on the faculty of the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity. Her work has deservedly earned national recognition and respect.
