Three named to St. Thomas board of trustees
The University of St. Thomas has named Gail Dorn, Daniel Haggerty and Stephen Hemsley to its board of trustees.
- Dorn is a marketing and community relations consultant for Target Corp. She was vice president of communications and community relations for Target for 15 years. A 1984 graduate of St. Thomas, she also serves on the board of the Target Foundation and represents the company as a board member of the Tiger Woods Foundation.
- Haggerty, retired president of Norwest Venture Capital, is a 1962 St. Thomas alumnus. He also has served on advisory boards for the university’s graduate business and science and engineering programs. He has served on the boards of North Star Research Systems and Network Systems; he also is a former trustee of the College of St. Catherine.
- Hemsley is president and chief operating officer of UnitedHealth Group. He is a 1974 alumnus of Fordham University. He has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards and currently is a member of the board of directors of UnitedHealth Group.
