The Tommie Volleyball team clinched the Summit League Tournament Championship last week, and with it earned their first-ever trip to the NCAA Volleyball Tournament. Join us at Scooters for a watch party at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, as St. Thomas takes on Iowa State. All are welcome at no charge.

Dec. 5: Attend Minnesota Paid Leave Webinar

Are you interested in learning more about the new Minnesota Paid Leave program? The Human Resources Benefits team at St. Thomas is sponsoring a session with The Hartford. All St. Thomas employees, including staff, faculty, and student employees, are invited to attend an upcoming virtual webinar on Friday, Dec. 5, at 11 a.m.

The webinar will cover topics related to the upcoming Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave Act, which will go into effect Jan. 1, and the impacts that this will have on St. Thomas employees who are planning to take a leave of absence. Dec. 15: Apply for Four Pillars Mini Grant

The Four Pillars Project will be awarding mini-grants of up to $2,000 for an individual or up to $4,000 for a team of any size to help faculty members and student-facing staff enhance their courses or other learning experiences in ways that help undergraduate students learn about and/or develop and exercise one or more of the cardinal virtues: prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance.
