Media Highlights:

Dr. David Alexander, associate professor of marketing at the Opus College of Business, co-wrote an article for The Wall Street Journal, "When Positive Word-of-Mouth Can Have Negative Consequences." In the piece, he does a deep dive into his recent research, focusing particularly on social pressures surrounding consumerism.

Thomas Berg, a law professor at the School of Law, commented on a recent Supreme Court case in a Reuters article about broadening religious rights.

School of Social Work Clinical Faculty and Coordinator of Aging Services Dr. Tanya Rand, along with Selim Center for Lifelong Learning Director Bob Shoemake, co-wrote a commentary for MinnPost on supporting older adults as society ages.

As America reflects on the fifth anniversary from the date of George Floyd's murder, Dr. Yohuru Williams, founding director of the Racial Justice Initiative, has appeared with multiple media outlets discussing the implications from the history of police brutality and racism in the U.S. to where we go from here.
